Recertification: Eligibility & Requirements
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED
Each certification and renewal is valid for three (3) years from the date of completion. You may only renew your Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification once. After one (1) recertification, you will be required to take the full course again. In order to be eligible for recertification your certificate must be current and not be expired. No exceptions.
Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED
Valid for three (3) years from the date of completion. Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED certificates are not eligible for re-certification. You must take the full course after each certification period.
CPR/AED
Each certification and renewal is valid for three (3) years from the date of completion. You may continue renewing your CPR/AED certificate as long as it does not reach expiry. If your certification expires and is not renewed within your three (3) year certification period then you will be required to retake the full CPR/AED course again. No exceptions.
Basic Life Support (BLS/HCP)
Each certification and renewal is valid for one (1) year from the date of completion. You may continue renewing your BLS/HCP certificate as long as it does not reach expiry. If your certification expires and is not renewed within your one (1) year certification period then you will be required to retake the full BLS/HCP course again. No exceptions.
