About the Course

Comprehensive fully in-class course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. Prerequisites

In order to participate in a recertification course, candidates must hold a current, non-expired, Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (or equivalent) certification.  Expired certificates cannot be re-certified. You may only re-certify a certificate once then the full Standard First Aid & CPR/AED course must be taken again. 

Levels Offered

Level A (Adult, private courses only)     9:30am - 4:30pm
Level C (Adult, child, baby)                       9:30am - 4:30pm
Level HCP (Health Care Provider)          9:30am - 5:30pm

WSIB Requirements Met

-   Fulfills all WSIB requirements. 
-   Required for workplaces with more than 5 workers on any given
     shift.

Materials Provided

-    Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED Manual
-    Breathing barrier (face shield)
-    Gloves
-    Writing materials
-    Kneeling pads

Knowledge and Skill Objectives

Participants must complete all skill and knowledge requirements for successful completion of the course. 100% attendance and minimum 75% passing grade on final exam required for successful completion and certification.
