About Blended/Online Learning:
Participants first complete self-paced online modules. There are built in accessibility features to make the modules as user friendly as possible (audio, live chat, print, feedback, etc). After successful completion of the modules, participants then participate in a skills practice and evaluation session with a Red Cross instructor.
Important: If a participant does not attend a classroom session within this four-week time span, they must purchase another ePIN and re-take the online component before being admitted into the classroom.
Knowledge and Skill Objectives
The knowledge and skill objectives remain the same as those in the traditional in-class course. Participants must complete all skill and knowledge requirements for successful completion of the course.
WSIB Requirements Met
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Blended Learning) fulfills all WSIB requirements (required for workplaces with more than 5 workers on any given shift)
