Each blended learning course is divided in to two components. Participants must first complete the self-paced online component of the course, which includes the written knowledge evaluations. After completing the online component, candidates then complete  an instructor-led classroom component at a later date. This consists of a skills practice and evaluation session. Both components must be completed successfully to gain certification. Candidates have four weeks from the date of completing the first component in which they can complete the second.

Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines.
